Tourism is one of the fields negatively affected by the coronavirus pandemic. The activity in this sphere will be restored after the pandemic is over and the special quarantine regime is abolished. However, in the postpandemic period, tourism facilities, restaurants and cafes will render services by following certain rules. In the postpandemic period, projects will be implemented for the development of the domestic tourism, as the development of the domestic tourism is one of the state priorities.
This issue is topical not only during the postpandemic period. Nevertheless, the damage done by the coronavirus creates a need for additional measures to revitalize the tourism sector. Initially, the state has rendered assistance to entrepreneurs operating in this field. In the next stage, the "SAHMAN" project, that will play a significant role in the promotion of Azerbaijan as a healthy tourism venue, has been prepared.
Cafeterias, cafes and restaurants are the places mostly used by people at resorts. These facilities will be allowed to operate in accordance with some rules. Employess of those facilities should follow personal hygiene rules, and resorts should be disinfected on a regular basis.
Experts say the fact that during the postpandemic period, foreign trips are risky, the basis for the development of the local tourism has been created. Nonetheless, entrepreneurs should follow requirements and define prices affordable for the population.
